Adult & Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

Mary Joan has been working with Cardiology Associates of Somerset County since July 2001. She completed her Nursing Education with a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing from Gwynedd Mercy College, Gwynedd Valley , PA and Masters Degree in Nursing from University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey. She brings a thirty year history of Cardiovascular nursing experience including Critical Care, Open Heart Surgery, Cardiac Electrophysiology as well as Research in Defibrillators, Heart Failure and Antiarrhythmic medications. She has national certification as an Adult Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certifications from American Nurses Credentialing Center.
